EXETER — The Wyoming Area Lacrosse Organization kicked off a letter-writing fundraiser in November. Over 100 letters were sent to local business asking for a donation to help start the lacrosse program at Wyoming Area.
The campaign will continue to run over the next several months and anyone interested in donating could send a check made out to the WA Lacrosse Organization to the following address: WA Lacrosse Organization, 116 Exeter Ave., West Pittston, PA 18643.
To date, the campaign has raised over $1000 and the following businesses have been identified as contributing donors to the programs: Reliable Transportation, Mike’s Lawn Care, Kim Reilly and Associates, Nocito Law Offices, Atty. Michael Butera, Robert Fronzoni Pool and Spa Service, Ellsworth Disposal Service, Fighting Chance Self Defense Association, Independent Graphics Inc., James Egan Sons Company, Rome Enterprises Inc., Kelly Auto Parts, Crest Cleaners, Pace Transportation, Modern Market and Mike Defrancesco Barber Shop.
