FALLS — Sharon Telesky, Master Gardener Coordinator of Penn State Extension of Luzerene/Wyoming counties, will be at the Falls Active Center to discuss “Garden Pests and Diseases” from 1 to 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 25.

The next book to be discussed on March 2 is “The Story of the Trapp Family Singers” by Maria Agusta Trapp. The club meets the first Monday of every month.

Mondays: 9:30 to 11 a.m., Wii bowling with Tunkhannock center, alternating sites; 10:30 a.m. to noon, Craft & Crocheting group meets. Any level is welcome. The group is currently making afghans to provide extra warmth for people in the dialysis unit of a local hospital. If anyone has extra yarn that you would be willing to donate for the project, it would be appreciated.

Tuesdays: Brain games at lunch.

Wednesdays: 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Walking group meets, weather permitting.

Thursdays: Nutrition talks at lunch. Bingo will be held following lunch.

Fridays: 9:30 a.m. to noon Geocaching activity, weather permitting. Free Zumba Gold from 9:15 to 10 a.m.

Anyone wishing to join the Falls Active Center for a hot meal each day at noon, for a suggested donation of $2 for those 60 and over, and $4.62 for those under 60, should RSVP to Twila at 570-388-2623 by 12:30 p.m. the day before.
