FALLS — A Martin Luther King special lunch and discussion will be held at the center at 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15. Joan Krispin, LPN Admissions Director of the Meadows, will be at the center for bingo.
Debbie Konick from WVIA will be at the center to discuss volunteer opportunities at 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 14.
The center will be closed on Monday, Jan. 19 in observance of Martin Luther King Day.
The following activities are available throughout the week:
Mondays: 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wii bowling with Tunkhannock center, alternating sites; 10:30 to noon, Craft & Crocheting group meets. Any level is welcome.
Tuesdays: Brain games at lunch.
Wednesdays: 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Walking group meets, weather permitting.
Thursdays: Nutrition talks at lunch.
Fridays: 9:30 a.m. to noon Geocaching activity, weather permitting.
Anyone wishing to join the Falls Active Center for a hot meal each day at noon, for a suggested donation of $2 for those 60 and over, and $4.62 for those under 60, should RSVP to Twila at 570-388-2623 by 12:30 p.m. the day before.
