DURYEA — As a Lenten activity, the sixth grade class at Holy Rosary School made Stations of the Cross booklets.

Under the guidance of their teacher Lisa Casey, the students, working in groups, were assigned stations in which group reflected on their station and wrote what the station meant to them in their own words. Each group then had an “artist” who drew and colored the students’ ideas about their station.

The students’ write ups were typed, drawings were scanned, and a booklet was made for each sixth grade student.
