WEST PITTSTON — The face value period for taxes is in effect until Sunday, May 31 and the penalty value begins on Monday, June 1. When making a payment and requesting a receipt, residents are asked to send both parts of the tax bill along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope for your receipt. The tax office is open from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdaysa nd from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturdays during the face period. For more information, call 570-655-3801.
