Kuprionas joins Casey Dental
Dr. Anthony Kuprionas, a pediatric dentist, and his staff will join Casey Dental in February.
Kuprionas has provided dental care in the Wyoming Valley since 1975. His most recent practice was located at 24 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre.
He graduated in 1967 from Nanticoke High School, obtained a bachelor of science degree in biology at King’s College in 1971 and in 1975, he graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry. From 1976-77, Kuprionas worked at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia to obtain his certificate in pediatric dentistry.
Kuprionas is associated with the Academy of General Dentistry, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He obtained his fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry.
A open house will take place fron 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 8 at Casey Dental located at 1073 Oak Street in Pittston to celebrate Kuprionas’s arrival.
Crake named to dean’s list
Sarah Crake, West Pittston, was recently named to the dean’s list of Albright College, Reading, for the fall 2014 semester. Crake, a junior theatre major, attained a least a 3.75 term grade point average to be named to the list.
Hoffmann named to dean’s list
Zachary Hoffmann, of Dupont, was named to the dean’s list at King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, for the fall 2014 semester.
Locals earn degrees from Wilkes
Carolyn Bosak, Exeter, and Tia Biscotti, Dupont, each earned degrees from Wilkes University after completion of the fall 2014 semester.
Bosak received a Bachelor of Business Administration, while Biscotti received a Master of Science in Educaion.
Happy Anniversary
Mike and Nora (Musto) English, of the Cork Lane section of Pittston Township, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 30.
Happy Birthday
Renee Valenti of Exeter will celebrate her birthday on Jan. 29.
