AVOCA — The following are refuse fees throughout the 2015 year: Discount fee, available Jan. 21- Feb. 20, is $160 per unit; Base fee, available Feb. 21 – Mar. 20, is $165 per unit; Fee with penalty, available March 21 – April 20, is $175 per unit; Fee with penalty, available April 21 – May 20, is $185 per unit; and Fee with penalty, available May 21 – June 21, is $195 per unit.
Payments may be received from 9 tio 11 a.m. on Tuesdays at the borough building located at 752 Main St. or by mail to Therese Wrubel, 129 Factory St., Avoca PA 18641. If sending a payment, include a self-addressed stamped envelope. Make checks payable to Avoca Borough.
