JENKINS TWP. — The 2015 Jenkins Township Refuse and Recycling Stickers are now available at the municipal building. The cost for the 2015 sticker is $60, which is the sticker and a roll of 25 refuse bags. The Senior Citizen 2015 sticker is $50, which is the sticker and a roll of 25 refuse bags. A discount is afforded to senior citizens and residents with a disability providing proof is shown with a Medicare card, which is a savings of $10.

A recycling ordinance passed in 2013 requires all residential, rental properties and commercial properties to purchase a Refuse and Recycling Sticker. All residents and commercial units are required by this ordinance to comply with recycling.

As of Monday, Jan. 26, all residents and commercial units that do not have a current 2015 Refuse and Recycling sticker on display, no collection will be made at these residences and commercial units.
