JENKINS TWP. — The 2015 Jenkins Township Refuse and Recycling Stickers are now available at the municipal building.
The cost for the 2015 sticker is $60, which is the sticker and a roll of 25 refuse bags. The Senior Citizen 2015 sticker is $50, which is the sticker and a roll of 25 refuse bags. A discount is afforded to senior citizens and residents with a disability providing proof is shown with a Medicare card, which is a savings of $10.
A recycling ordinance passed in 2013 requires all residential, rental properties and commercial properties to purchase a Refuse and Recycling Sticker. All residents and commercial units are required by this ordinance to comply with recycling.
