Duryea’s Ryan Flanagan received postseason recognition with a pair of honors from the Metropolitan Junior Hockey League after finishing second in the league in goals scored.
The 17-year-old forward was named Metro League Rookie of the Year and first-team, all-star after leading the Vermont Lumberjacks to the Francis Division title.
Flanagan had 40 goals and 24 assists in 36 games. He started and finished the season strong with 21 goals in the first 12 games and six goals in the last five.
