PITTSTON — Jaret and Justin Monteforte, sons of Greater Pittston Friendly Sons of St. Patrick President Lee Monteforte, will be part of the group’s 101st annual banquet.
Justin Monteforte will serve as general chairman and Jaret Monteforte will serve as grand marshal. They will join John J. Dougherty, principal speaker; Ed Ackerman, toastmaster; Msgr. John Bendik, Achievement Award selection; Dr. John Callahan, Swingle Award recipient; and Thomas J. Reilly Sr., this year’s Man of the Year.
The 101st annual banquet will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17 at The Woodlands Inn & Resort, Route 315, Plains. This year’s banquet will also include a sports memorabilia silent auction conducted by Whip Fundraising featuring local college and professional items.
Cost is $75 per person and $50 for those under 21 years of age. Tickets are available from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. any Wednesday at the Knights of Columbus home in Pittston or by contacting any active member of the Greater Pittston Friendly Sons of St. Patrick.
Justin Monteforte
Justin Monteforte is the son of Lee and Deborah Monteforte. He is a compensation consultant for Drexel University in Philadelphia. A graduate of Wyoming Seminary, he holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and business from Lafayette College and a master’s in business administration from Temple University.
His work has included market research design and analysis for MSI International. He then became an information consultant for Hay Group, analyzing compensation and benefits data for retail and restaurant corporations. He has performed employee engagement analyses for Spring International. His work included survey design, data analysis, segmentation, metrics modeling, focus group moderation and reporting. Currently at Drexel, he provides full compensation analysis for the university.
Married to the former Dr. Louise LaNunziata, of West Pittston, and two are expecting their first child in May. The family lives in suburban Philadelphia in Ambler.
Jaret Monteforte
Jaret Monteforte is a 2012 honors graduate from Pittston Area High School where he was a multiple letter winner in soccer, swimming and diving and track and field. Upon graduation, he was accepted to Lock Haven University where he is currently a junior majoring in business marketing. His employment experiences include Quinn’s Market, Turkey Hill, Emanon Country Club and Susquehanna Brewing Company. His plans after graduation include a career in either business or marketing. He enjoys hunting and fishing, snowboarding and music.
