PITTSTON TWP. — Trash will be collected once a week on Fridays in Pittston Township. Place items at the curb the night before. Items may not be placed at the curb before 4 p.m. the night before and must be removed when trash and recyclables are picked up the day following collection.
The next schedule for recycling pickup will be Friday, Feb. 6.
Residents are also reminded that no person shall dispose of electronic devices, or any of its components, with their municipal solid waste. Electronics include desktop computers, laptops computers, computer monitors, microwave ovens, and televisions. Electronic retail stores like Best Buy and Staples do accept certain types of electronics at no charge (certain restrictions apply).
