DUPONT — More than 50 members of the Women’s Society of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Dupont, gathered for a Christmas wafer dinner on Sunday, Jan. 11 in the church hall. The annual event featured a check presentation to the church with the total amount raised by the women’s society throughout the year. Fundraisers included several pierogie sales, a bake sale and raffles. Dinner was catered by Cooper’s of Scranton.
