Wyoming Area’s Haley Stackhouse finished eighth in the Emerging Elite Division girls’ high jump at the New Balance National Indoor Track and Field Championships in New York City March 13.
Based on performances during the indoor season, top high school athletes from around the country qualify for the Championship Division or the Emerging Elite Division.
Stackhouse jumped 5-2 ½ at the event in New York City, which is generally regarded as the nation’s top indoor high school meet of the season.
