DURYEA — The Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 585, Duryea, have begun selling their Sportsmen Raffle, sponsored by Roll Call of Duryea. Tickets are $3 each or two tickets for $5. Drawing to be held after the annual chicken barbecue on Saturday, June 6.
First place prize is a Glock 42 .380. Second place, a Henry Goldenboy .22. Third place, a Smith & Wesson .22 Target Model. Fourth place, a $50 gift card to Gander Mountain. Fifth place, a $50 gift card to Bass Pro Shop. Sixth place, a $50 gift card to Komensky’s Market.
Tickets can be purchased from any SAL officer or at the post home.
The Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 585, Duryea will hold its annual BBQ Chicken Dinner at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 6 at 329 Main St. Cost is $12.
