PITTSTON — The Knights of Lithuania Council No. 143 of Pittston have something special going on. And it’s all about family.
The Palladino family has been a part of the Knights for a long time. Descendents of longtime Knights Charles and Genevieve Dajnowski, formerly of Inkerman, the Palladino has kept the tradition alive. Currently, siblings Alan, Dennis and Janet Palladino are members. David Palladino, a third generation member, is the son of Janet and Dennis, and is the grandson of the Dajnowskis.
Dennis currently holds the office of Ritualist, while Janet is the treasurer.
At a recent meeting, Janet and Dennis, of Hughestown, received their first degree as members in good standing. Dennis, the Ritualist, recently swore in his brother, Alan.
