Students achieve honor roll
The following Holy Rosary School students have been named to the third quarter honor roll for the 2014-15 academic year.
Students who have achieved high honors maintain averages of 93 or above in all major subjects.
Eighth grade: Grace Berlew, Kevin Bradigan, Lauren Cawley, Angelina Falcone, Kalley Kovaleski, Sarah Liskowicz, Peyton McNulty, Michael Mucciolo, Xavier Parrick, Kiearra Saldi, Rylee Shay and Charles Vermac.
Seventh grade: Eric Dixon, Evan Gedrich, Mary Elizabeth Kishbaugh, James Marsh, Mark Ranieli, Zachary Sulima, and Amanda Yanul.
Sixth grade: Grace Giordina, Abigail Lentowski, Abigail Sankus, Andrew Skutack, and Kendall Tigue.
Students with honors maintain averages of 85 or above in all major subjects.
Eighth grade: Jordan Cicon, Larry Corridoni, Hannah Ferenchick, Taylor Hembury, Christina Heppding, Abigail Klink, Colton Mackell, Emily Miller, Tyler Mozeleski, Michael Skutack, Joe Stella, and Maggie Stuccio.
Seventh grade: Lana Baron, Margaret Breznay, Louis Galli, Julia LaClair, Lauren Mazzarella, Sarah Mies, Katie Nealon, and Belle Vermac.
Sixth grade: William Aldrich, Patrick Bennie, Marilyn Butler, Julia Burgess, Carmen Cox, Chase Duffy, Morgan Gromelski, Matthew Johnson, Thomas Lee, Carmen Marranca, Vanessa Pinto, Maxwell Rosen, and Lola Terrana.
Muffins with Mom forms due
“Muffins with Mom” will be held from 7:30 to 8 a.m. on on Monday, May 11. Send in forms by Monday, April 27.
Half day will be held April 29
There will be a half day of school on Wednesday, April 29, with school dismissing at 11 a.m.. Bus service is provided as usual.
Race for Education is May 8
Holy Rosary’s annual Race for Education will be held on Friday, May 8. Review the “Kick-off Packet” for more information. Participation is essential to the success of this fun and beneficial program that provides an excellent opportunity to reduce tuition for the 2015-16 school year.
Get tax credits for donations
Businesses can receive tax credits for donating to Catholic education. Pennsylvania businesses can receive a 75 percent tax credit for a 1-year commitment, a 90 percent tax credit for a 2-year commitment at the K-12 level, and a 100 percent tax credit at the Pre-K level.
