Pride Mobility, of Exeter, has become an ongoing sponsor of Earthly Angels Autism Fund, a local nonprofit striving to increase autism awareness, provide funding to qualified nonprofit organizations for autistic services, support programs and education and to bring hope to families of autistic children.

Autism is a lifelong condition that can affect social skills, communication, behavior and independence. Yet, because common symptoms of autism are repetitive behaviors and hyper focus on small details, some with autism demonstrate exceptional talents in isolated areas, including music and mathematics.

“According to recent studies, 1 out of 50 children is effected by autism (more formally called, autism spectrum disorder or ASD), including children of parents here at Pride,” said Scott Meuser, Chairman and CEO.

“Pride’s support means so much to us,” said Ron D’Eliseo, co-founder of Earthly Angels. “Our goal is to serve our fellow special needs families, and Pride’s support is invaluable toward that mission.”
