Craft fair to be held
There will be a Craft Fair held at Wyoming Area Catholic on Saturday, Dec. 13. This craft fair is sponsored by Shop Local and Wyoming Area Catholic will be selling food during the event. Contact Lori DeAngelo at 570-239-5260 for more information.
Santa’s Workshop Dec. 4
WAC’s PTG is sponsoring their annual Santa’s Workshop on Thursday, Dec. 4 in St. Cecilia’s Church Hall. Students are invited to do their own Christmas shopping with the help of Santa’s elves. A visit from good old St. Nick is planned.
Barnes and Noble shopping day Dec. 4
Please join Wyoming Area Catholic School on Thursday, Dec. 4 at Barnes and Noble at 421 Arena Hub Plaza, Wilkes-Barre for a shopping extravaganza. Wyoming Area Catholic School Library will benefit from the proceeds if using a coupon or mentioning the school. Shopping hours for WAC are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Students from Wyoming Area Catholic’s School Choir will being singing Christmas carols and reading Christmas stories from 6 to 7 p.m. Free gift wrapping is available.
Christmas Program/Living Nativity Dec. 7
Wyoming Area Catholic School community will present their annual school Christmas program at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7 in the school auditorium. Family and friends will have an opportunity to have their picture taken with Santa in his sleigh before and after the program and the eighth grade class will present the Nativity during the program as well as a “Living Nativity” that evening from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
