A “Concert of Prayer” will be held from 1:15 to 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 14 at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 317 Luzerne Ave, West Pittston.
This is open to anyone interested. There is free parking in the church lot accessed from Parke Sreet.

Committee meets
The West Pittston Cherry Blossom Festival Committee will meet at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21 in the school building behind Corpus Christi Parish on Luzerne Avenue in West Pittston.
WPHS Class of ‘64
The West Pittston High School Class of 1964 will hold a 50th anniverary class reunion on Oct. 11 at Fox Hill Country Club. Those attending are asked to return a biography and check by Sept. 1 to Elaine Kuffa, 155 Philadelphia Ave,. West Pittston, 18643.
The final reunion meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday Sept. 19 at the home of Elaine Smiles Kuffa.
