There will be a registration today, Sunday May 3 from noon to 12:30 p.m. at the Wyoming Area Atlas Baseball Field for a newly formed 13 Year Old American Legion Baseball Team. All boys ages 12 and 13 years of age are eligible to register. The GP squad will be part of a team league and it will play a 12-game schedule over four weeks. Former Wyoming Area and Greater Pittston Head Coach and current GP General Manager Ron Musto has appointed Rob Sepelyak as field manager. Anyone with questions should call Musto at 654-5737 for more information. All prospective players will need their original birth certificate.
The GP program will be the fifth in the Wyoming Valley League to form a developmental league for 12 and 13 year old players after Hazleton, Mountaintop, Nanticoke and Plains.
