The Pittston Area Junior High Girls Field Hockey team posted a 4-0 shutout of Tunkhannock on Monday. Emily Herron led the scoring effort with two goals. Meredith Yozwiak and Dana Maurizi also tallied one goal apiece for PA. Nicole Chaiko had one assist, and Meredith Yozwiak had two assists. Alexa Danko, Sam Moska, Katrina Mikitish and Rebecca Weinstock helped out on offense. On defense, the Lady Patriots were led by Brittany Giamber, Rachel Simansky and Marina Barnak. Lea Garibaldi had four saves at goalie.
