Rosemarie (Bednar) Evans, 66, of Wyoming, died May 20, 2009 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Gutchmonowski) Bednar. She was a graduate of Swoyersville High School and was employed at Blue Cross Blue Shield for 38 years.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Bednar; and brother, Robert Bednar.
Surviving are her husband, Michael Evans, Wyoming; granddaughter Peyton Bednar, Tunkhannock; step-daughter Jennifer Evans, West Pittston; and nieces Melissa Bednar, Forty Fort, and Melanie Bednar Westawski, Sarasota, FL.
Funeral service was May 22 at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Plains Twp. Interment at the convenience of the family.
