Mary Rose Dente, 80, of Exeter, died January 3, 2009, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
She was born in Exeter, June 1, 1928, a daughter of the late Stephen Sr. and Mary Shimay Pestak. She graduated from Exeter High School and was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter.
She was preceded in death by brother Stephen Pestak Jr.
Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Dominick Dente Sr.; son Dominick Dente Jr.; daughter Mary Miller, and husband William; grandson Mitchell; sister Elaine Cassetori.
A Mass of Christian Burial was Jan. 6 in St. Anthony of Padua Church. Interment, St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Exeter. Arrangements are by Howell-Lussi Funeral Home, West Pittston.
