Elmer J. DeGuglielmo, 78, Plains Twp., died Oct. 15, 2008 in Wilkes-Barre General.
Born in West Pittston on January 27, 1930, he was a son of the late Paul and Rose Manganiello DeGuglielmo. He was a graduate of Exeter High School, Class of 1948 and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Prior to retirement, he worked as a tool and dye caster. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Pittston. He was a former member of Fox Hill Country Club, Exeter.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Grace; and a brother, Anthony.
Surviving are his wife of 31 years, the former Ann Rossi; step-daughter, Georgiann Mulreany Anderson and her husband, Mark, Shavertown; grandchildren, Kelly, Jason and Michael Anderson; brother, Patrick Williams, West Pittston; sister, Jasmine Prushko, Wyalusing; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Oct. 18 from the Adonizio Funeral Home, West Pittston with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Pittston. Interment, Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville.
