Up to a dozen cardinals were spotted behind the home of Tony Callaio in West Pittston last week. Tony tells us a neighbor has set up a bird feeder with food specifically for cardinals and the birds flock to it several times a day.
In turn the cardinal attracted a Cooper’s hawk which would like nothing more than a songbird for lunch.
