Fifteen Holy Rosary School students recently participated in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science competition held at Wilkes University on Saturday, March 8. Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science is a statewide organization designed to stimulate and promote interest in science among junior and high school students, through the development of research projects and investigations. Approximately 700 students participated in the region.
The following students were recognized with Special Awards: Grade 8, Harleigh Davis, Excellence in Botany; Grade 7, Lary Cardoni, Excellence in Ecology, First Award; Grade 7, Sarah Liskowicz, Perfect Score, First Award.
Students receiving First Awards were Grace Berlew, Lauren Cawley, Jordan Cicon, Angelina Falcone, Sarah Liskowicz, Payton McNulty, Emily Miller, Michael Mucciolo and Michael Skutack.
Students receiving Second Awards were Dominick Angradi, Kevin Bradigan, Taylor Hembury and Kalley Kovaleski .
