The Pittston Area Softball Booster Club will meet at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at Tony’s Pizza in Jenkins Twp.

Patriot Baseball Booster Club
meeting on Wednesday
The Patriot Baseball Booster club will have a meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at the Red Mill located at 340 S. Main St., Pittston. Everyone is welcome.
Steph’s Fall 5k
The Third Annual Steph’s Fall 5K will take place on Saturday, Sept. 27 on the grounds of the Luzerne County Sports Complex in Forty Fort. Participants can compete in the 5km (3.1 mile) run or in the 3km (1.86 mile) walk.
Awards will be given to the top finishers in both the run and the walk, with medals going to the top three finishers in each age group. A fun run for children 10 and under will also take place prior to the start of the race. In addition to the run/walk, there will be some raffle items.
Registration, additional information and a list of featured raffle items may be found online at www.stephsfall5k.com. Online registration is open until 10 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21. After that date, those interested in participating may register the day of the race with registration tables open from 8:30 -10:10 a.m. The race begins promptly at 10:30 a.m.

Exeter Lions fundraising
The Exeter Lions Little League will host a fundraiser from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8 at the Susquehanna Brewing Co. in Pittston. Tickets are $20 per person and the evening will offer food, raffles, brewery tours and beer sampling.

The Patriot Baseball Booster Club is having a fundraiser from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24 at Susquehanna Brewing Company, 635 Main St., Pittston.
