The Greater Pittston La Leche League, affiliated with La Leche League International and serving families in the Wyoming Valley, will hold its first in a series of four meetings on Tuesday, September 11 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Saint Maria Goretti Church, 42 Redwood Drive, Laflin. The Church is easily accessed from Route 315 and Laflin Road.
At this meeting information will be shared regarding the Benefits of Breastfeeding.
A lending library is available at the meeting offering titles on childbirth, nutrition, and breastfeeding. A recent addition now available in the lending library is the title purchased at the 50th Anniversary La Leche League International Conference in July 2007, the Hidden Feelings of Motherhood by Kathleen A. Kendall-Tackett, Ph.D., IBCLC Children, including nursing babies are always welcome at meetings.
