Even though she enjoyed her high school experience, if Becca could do it over again, she would play sports. She would also consider teaching a psychology class if offered the opportunity.

Becca has many favorites, including teachers Mrs. Distasio and Mr. Richards. She loves listening to her idol, Alexander Deleon, the lead singer of The Cab. When Becca isn’t hanging out with friends and listening to The Cab, she can be found working and sleeping.

Although high school was long and full of memories for Becca, she knows that graduating will be the most memorable moment of her high school career. After graduation, Becca plans on going to college and becoming an independent adult.

Mia Cain

Mia Cain, daughter of Meghan Makowski and Nicholas Cain, was born on Aug. 6, 1997, and resides in Duryea. She can usually be seen hanging out with Stephen Yuhas, Marissa Facciponti, Nicole Lazevnick, Mackenzie Carroll, Courtney Dougal and Tabby Filipski. Her friends were definitely part of the reason why she considered her high school experience to be “unforgettable.”

Even though she enjoyed high school, if Mia could do it over again, she would have started her freshman year at Pittston Area. The most challenging part of high school that she encountered was switching to Pittston Area in her junior year.

Mia has many favorites, including teachers Mrs. Vincelli and Mr. Richards. She loves listening to Luke Bryan, especially the song “Out Like That.” When Mia isn’t hanging out with friends and listening to Luke Bryan, she can be found with her track and cross country teams.

Although high school was full of memories for Mia, her most memorable high school moment was when she won third place for high jump in track and field. Along with her third-place medal, she and her team were 2014 District 2 champions.

After her high school graduation, Mia plans to attend college to major in computers. She also wants to further her athletic career by joining the cross country team of her college choice. Mia’s personal favorite catch phrase is “expect the unexpected.” She looks forward to becoming an independent and successful person.

She can usually be seen hanging out with Katrina Mikitish, Allie Barber, Liz Waleski, Kate Pugliese, Cassie Ross, Carly Filipski, Olivia Giambra and Liz Scialpi.
