Our next meeting is Thursday, November 1 at 7 p.m. This is our first Chinese Auction meeting. Please come a little early if you are donating an item so we can set it up. We always have plenty of beautiful stuff to chance off. And remember to purchase your tickets before the meeting to participate. There will also be BonTon Community Day Booklets and Warrior Pride Magnets for sale.
Our children were treated to their first in-school program this past Thursday. “Chemistry Matters” was presented. The event went well and the children learned through enjoying the program.
Our Kindergarten through Second Graders participated in “The Evening with the Great Pumpkin” this past week also. Volunteers read Halloween stories and afterwards the children all got treat bags to take home.
Sprit Week is this coming week. There will be something different daily that the children can participate in. They will all be receiving a green, white, & gold shaker this coming week to use for the Pep Rally.
The sixth grade activities committee is planning a bowling afternoon on November 12th at Modern Lanes from 1 to 3 p.m. Children are responsible for their transportation to and from this event. The cost is $6 per child which includes two games of bowling and shoe rental. The PTO will cover half. Each child will be expected to share the cost. If there are any questions, please see a PTO officer. We are also in need of chaperones for this event. If you can help, please see Leandra Hosey or Ellen Yanik. And please send back your intention form ASAP.
Our children in 5th Grade have gotten an invitation to the Montgomery Avenue Halloween Dance for next week. Responses were due back this past week. There is a small charge for attendance. It should be a wonderful time for them.
