The Wyoming Area Kiwanis Club has finalized plans for the 14th Annual Breakfast with Santa to be held Sunday, December 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Wyoming Area High School Cafeteria.
The event has become a highlight of the Christmas season every year with more than 500 expected to attend.
The breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausage, and beverages will remain $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children from 2 to 12.
Highlighting the event will be the presence of that jolly old man from the North Pole, Santa Claus himself.
Other children activities such as face painting, Christmas card making and story reading will be available, as well as several raffles of toy baskets for both boys and girls.
Kiwanis President Megan Kuffa explained the breakfast is more than a fundraising activity for the club because it affords parents and children a safe non-threatening environment for youngsters to visit with Santa and request their Christmas treasures.
Kuffa welcomes the entire community to come out and enjoy a fun-filled event.
Tickets are available ahead of time by sending checks to: Wyoming Area Kiwanis, Breakfast with Santa, PO Box 4052, Wyoming, PA 18644 or by calling 603-0488, pre-orders can be picked up at the door and timed requests will be given preferential seating.
Tickets can also be purchased at the door the morning of the breakfast.
