The Wyoming Area Elementary wrestling team recently won its third consecutive Division 2 Penn League Championship.
The team is graduating six sixth-grade wrestlers, including Alex Pierce, Charlie Banashefski, Corey Mruk, Shyann Smith, Thomas Wycoski and Michael Orleski.
Wyoming Area also participated in the Penn League Wrestling tournament in early February at Lake-Lehman.

Wrestlers coming in first place were Garret Pocceschi, Jonathan Stone, Deacon Wall, Corey Mruk, Connor Wrobleski, Alessandro Mannino, Thomas Wycoski and Michael Orleski. Second place finishers were Rocco Pizano, Jacob Katulka and Mel Kernis.
Charlie Banashefski took third place. Taking fourth-place were Shane Pepe, Kendal Heck and Keegan Rasmus.
