During the basketball season that concluded in April, team Swish, representing Greater Wyoming Area Girls Youth Basketball, participated in two leagues and two tournaments. The team went undefeated in leagues played at Back Court Hoops in Scranton and Holy trinity in Swoyersville, ending its season at 25-3. These fifth and sixth-graders also played in an exhibition game prior to the Harlem Globetrotters appearance at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre Township.
