Bill and Elaine (Raymond) Schalles, both life-long residents of West Wyoming, will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24.
They were married at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in West Wyoming. Fr. Marcy Raymond, the uncle of Elaine, officiated the ceremony.
The couple has two children: Scott and his wife, Shani, live in Mechanicsburg with their three children, and Tara and her husband, Gary Haney, live in Arlington, Va. with their two children.
The family will be together this Thanksgiving to celebrate. A family trip to Mexico is also planned for December.
