Dr. Michelle Marie Choate and Dr. George Tyler Behlke were united in marriage on May 9, 2015 in St. Joseph Church in York by the Rev. James Menkhus.

The bride is the daughter of Steven and Jeannette Choate of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. She is the granddaughter of Fred and Kaye Kasper of Iowa City, Iowa and Lois and the late Edwin Choate.

The groom is the son of Robert and Ellen Behlke of Wyoming. He is the grandson of Jane Behlke of Scranton and the late Robert Behlke, and the late George and Elizabeth Batey.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She chose her long-time friend, Erin Pauling, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Emily Foreman, Natalia Petrochko, Crystal McCown and Morgan Thomas, friends of the bride, and Dana Johnson, sister of the groom.

The groom was attended by co-best men Dave Nocera and Theron Ward. Groomsmen were Darren Heiser, Ryan Fina and Taylor Bridges, friends of the groom, and Rob Johnson, brother-in-law of the groom. Ushers were Anton Verdine, Michael Maccia, Cody Null and Stan Bradley.

The bride was honored at bridal showers given by her mother at The Library in Solon, Iowa and by her attendants at Nino’s Bistro in Camp Hill. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the parents of the groom, was held at The Eagle’s Nest in York. Following the ceremony, an evening cocktail hour and reception, hosted by the parents of the bride, were held at Heritage Hills Golf Resort in York. A morning-after breakfast, hosted by the parents of the groom, was held at Heritage Hills.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Cumberland Valley High School in Mechanicsburg. She received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wilkes University in 2013 and is employed as a staff pharmacist by Rite Aid in Lebanon.

The groom is a 2007 graduate of Wyoming Area High School. He received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wilkes University in 2013 and is employed as a staff pharmacist by Rite Aid in Harrisburg.

The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia. They reside in Palmyra.
