DURYEA — The Phoenix Performing Arts Centre, 409 Main St., will present “Pippin the Musical” from Friday, Nov. 4 to Sunday, Nov. 6 and Friday, Nov. 11 to Sunday, Nov. 13.

Friday and Saturday shows begin at 8 p.m. and Sunday shows begin at 2 p.m.

The show follows the protagonist, Pippin, and his father Charlemagne, who are derived from two real-life individuals of the early Middle Ages, though the plot presents no historical accuracy regarding either. Audience members will follow Pippin through his life journey along with a circus theme of players.

Tickets are $12 per person and reservations can be made by calling 570-457-3589. Seating is limited.
