WILKES-BARRE — The Greater Pittston YMCA held its annual dinner Wednesday, Nov. 2 at the Keystone Grand Ballroom of Mohegan Sun Casino.
The Master of Ceremonies for the event was be Greater Pittston Friendly Sons of St. Patrick member Shawn Casey.
This year’s winners included: Ed Ackerman, Lifetime Achievement Award; Patrick Hadley and Santino Ferreti of Main Street Realty, Corporate Distinction Award; Barbara A. Sciandra and Qiana Lehman of Paint Pittston Pink, YMCA Spirit of Community Award; Ronald Faust, Sam Milazzo Volunteer of the Year; Madeline Dworak, James & Jean Yates Youth Leadership Award.
This year’s recipients were all selected for their leadership and service to the community through volunteer activities that bring about positive social change throughout all of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
