DURYEA — The Phoenix Performing Arts Centre will hold auditions for two shows for the start of the upcoming 2017 season from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 3 and from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5.
There will also be registrations for the Open Stage Cabaret held Feb. 4 at Queen of Apostles Parish in Avoca.
The two shows are “We Will Rock You” for ages 14 to young adult men and women and “Bugsy Malone,” for boys and girls ages 4 to 13 boys and girls.
Those auditioning should bring sheet music or backtracks to both auditions.

Anyone auditioning for “We Will Rock You” can sing in the genre of Rock and may sing a Queen song and anyone auditioning for “Bugsy Malone” may do a short dance routine that will be taught by Lee LaChette, choreographer.
