Deacon James R. Meizanis, Sr., a deacon in the Diocese of Scranton stationed at Corpus Christi Parish in West Pittston, recently provided the sixth, seventh and eighth-grade students of Wyoming Area Catholic School with the opportunity to learn more about the diaconate. During the dialogue, the students were able to ask questions about vocations and the different duties a deacon performs for a parish. From left, first row, are Morgan Crake, Aiden O’Haire.
