EXETER — Wyoming Area’s Annual Title I Parent meeting was held Thursday, Feb. 2 at the Kindergarten Center and focused on how parents could help improve their child’s academic success by being involved with their education and communicating with the Title I staff.

Guest speakers were Mrs. Carmen Phillips, Dawn Federici, Lisa Henninger, Michelle Fulmer and Michel Fulmer, Title I parents who attended the Pennsylvania State Parent Advisory Conference (SPAC) last year

These parents shared their experiences and educational information obtained from the conference, Their message was to inspire parents in attendance to consider attending the conference held every summer.

Those in attendance at the Title I meeting also heard from Mrs. Rita Mauriello, Title I coordinator.

Parental packets containing handouts from the state parent conference and other Title I information were given to parents in attendance.

Certificates from the Title I State Parent Advisory Council were presented to the parents who attended the conference last summer.
