AVOCA — The V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 8335 will have a brief meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, May 1 at the post home, 915 Main St.
President June Fitzgerald will preside over the meeting and Kathie Stewart will be the installing officer for officers for the ensuing 2017-2018 year.
Officers for the upcoming year include June Fitzgerald, President; Jill Rowell, senior vice president; Joan Emlaw, junior vice president; Melinda Linko, secretary; Ann Marie Carroll, treasurer; Patricia Bartnicki, chaplan; Betty Lewis, conductress; Kathie Stewart, guard; Wendy Radle, patriotic instructor; Sharon Linko, trustee; Ailene Exeter, trustee.
