DUPONT — Dupont VFW Post #4909, 401 Main St., Dupont, will host a sock hop Saturday, Aug. 12 from 7:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. For a $30 donation, patrons will enjoy a dinner buffet from 7:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m., an open bar from 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. and dancing from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. For more information, call the VFW at 570-654-9104.
