Wyoming Area Catholic School recently held its annual Poetry Fair in which students in grades four through eight are invited to write an original poem. There were two levels – Varsity and Junior Varsity – and poems were judged by English teachers in a local school system. The criteria used by the judges were originality, style, mood, line endings and line breaks.
