DURYEA — The Duryea Lions Club, in conjunction with the Duryea Betterment Committee, is planning a Hometown Banner Program.
The cost of a banner and the hardware is $225 a banner, if 15 or more people are willing to purchase a banner. The program is designed to honor active duty military, retirees, and veterans of Duryea who honorably served and continue to serve our country.
Those interest in honoring a Duryea Hometown Hero can send contact information to lkomensky@verizon.net and list the honoree and the contact name, address and phone number.
