HUGHESTOWN — The Hughestown Park and Recreation Committee will hold its Ninth Annual Picnic in the Park from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday July 15.
There will be a DJ, face painting, a bounce house, pony rides, a dunk tank, Pittston City smoke house and various games and prizes for the children.
Food includes hamburgers, hot dogs and salads.
Volunteers are needed to work the event. Residents are welcome to bring a covered dish to serve during the event.
