Dupont Volunteer Hose Co. holds 2018 elections

DUPONT — The Dupont Volunteer Hose Co. recently held its election of officers for 2018 year.

The newly elected officers are Bernie Babonis, president; Judy Coco, vice president; Gary Kaspriskie, treasurer; Patty Golla, secretary; Donald Hudzinski, fire chief; John McArdle, assistant fire chief; Chris Yacavelli, foreman.

Members of the board of directors are Tom Titon, John Lizak, Joe Lokuta, Bob Stochak and Albert Mihalka who is also the Sgt. of Arms.

The Relief Board consists of Judy Coco, Gary Kaspriski and John McArdle.

The new Community Service Director for the Dupont Hose Co. is Judy Coco. Babonis, who was Community Service Director for the past 20 years, has retired from that position, Babonis and Patrick Toole, who serves as President Judge of the Community Service Program, were initially responsible for the program.

Babonis would like to thank all residents in Dupont Borough for their continued support of all fire company functions. The fire company is always accepting volunteers.
