Christmas Mass Schedule is as follows:

Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God Mass will be at 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 1.

The Women’s Society Wafer Dinner will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7 at Arturo’s Restaurant, Main Street. Reservations may be made by contacting Diane at 570-654-6639.

Holy Water will be blessed at the 7:30 a.m. Mass of the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord Monday, Jan. 8. Parishioners may bring a container to church to take some home.

Sacred Heart Parish will soon begin again the Polish custom of kolęda, or the annual blessing of homes. This is a pastoral visitation to your home by the priest which takes place during January, usually near the Solemnity of the Epiphany. If you would like your home blessed in the new year, then please complete the registration form in the church bulletin.

Lenten Pierogi orders will be taken by the Women’s Society after all Masses the weekend of Jan. 13 and 14.

The Greater Pittston Kids Clothes Closet is open from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays.

The Care and Concern Free Health Clinic is open every Wednesday and is free of charge. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. in the former Seton Catholic High School and is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Patients for The Pediatric Health Clinic opens at 4:30 p.m. on the first Thursday and third Thursday of the month at the Care and Concern facility, 37 William St. Children’s immunization records are required upon registration. Parents or guardians must be present to have their child examined. All services are free and confidential.
