WILKES-BARRE — Britney Cheskiewicz, “Miss Wilkes-Barre Scranton Outstanding Teen” title holder and a Wyoming Area High School student, recently made a special appearance in conjunction with the NEPA Scholarship Pageant Association, In. at the Second Annual “Walter Klepaski Jr. Greater Wilkes-Barre Labor Council Unions Care Project.”
Cheskiewicz joined in with volunteers and family members of the Greater Wilkes-Barre Labor Council (GWBLC) in helping to fill 600 large Christmas stockings which were distributed to special needs children who are services at five local social service agencies.
One of the Miss Outstanding Teen title holder’s responsibilities is to engage in community service projects and educate the public about their personal platform.
Cheskiewicz will be representing the area in the “Miss Teen Pennsylvania” competition.
