Four Wyoming Area Catholic School students earn Bishop’s Youth Award

Four Wyoming Area Catholic School students were recently named recipients of the Bishop’s Youth Award, which recognizes young people of the Diocese of Scranton for their commitment to faith and service in their parishes and schools. The students were nominated by their pastors, parish life coordinators, principals and /or youth ministers. From left, are Maya Kasa, nominated by her parish Corpus Christi/Immaculate Conception in West Pittston; Kierstan Charney, nominated by her parish Corpus Christi/Holy Redeemer in Falls; Sebastian Beck, nominated by Wyoming Area Catholic School and his home parish of St. Joseph Marello in Pittston; Carissa Benderavich, nominated by Wyoming Area Catholic School and her home parish St. Maria Goretti.
